FIMIGroup's Automation Division is looking for a PLC Software Developer & Commissioning Engineer to join its technical team.
Hauptverantwortlichkeiten
Join FIMIGroup Automation and bring industrial plants to life worldwide.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing PLC and HMI software and commissioning industrial plants at customer sites worldwide, ensuring proper operation, final testing, and achievement of the required performance levels.
What you will do
• Develop PLC and HMI software according to project specifications.
• Perform internal testing and validation of software programs on electrical equipment.
• Configure and commission automation systems and drives.
• Participate in plant start-up and commissioning activities at customer sites.
• Work closely with mechanical commissioning technicians to ensure proper plant operation.
• Support final acceptance testing and achievement of the required performance targets.
• Contribute to troubleshooting and optimization activities during commissioning phases.
Qualifikationen und Erfahrung
Technical Qualifications
• 3–5 years of experience in the industrial machinery sector.
• 3–5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Knowledge of Siemens STEP7 and TIA Portal PLC programming.
• Knowledge of Siemens G120, S120, Simotion and Starter drive systems.
• Good command of the English language for international business travel.
• Technical diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.

Travel
Availability to travel in Italy and abroad for approximately 6 months per year is required, generally with assignments lasting no longer than 4 consecutive weeks.
During business trips, the company provides:
• Accommodation and meals.
• A daily allowance of €25.82.
Contract, Working Hours & Benefits
• National Metalworking Industry Collective Labour Agreement (CCNL Metalmeccanici Industria).
• Typical classification level: C3.
• Salary range: €30,000 – €40,000 gross annual salary, depending on experience.
• Company canteen.
• Annual welfare benefits of €250.
• Daytime working schedule.
• Remote working is not available.
• Very junior candidates may be offered an initial fixed-term contract with the objective of long-term employment.
