Between October 27th and 31st, FIMIGroup had the pleasure of opening its doors for a special technical open house event — the FIMI Technical Week.

Taking advantage of the presence of two major plants under construction — a Stainless Steel Sheet to sheet Leveler and a Complete Levelling and Cut-to-Length Line, both ready for dismantling and shipment — we invited selected customers to experience our technologies up close.

Throughout the week, several delegations visited our three production sites — Viganò, Valmadrera, and Barzanò — guided by our technical and sales teams, who presented the lines in detail and shared insights into our latest developments.

Key equipment featured during the event:

– Stainless Steel Sheet Leveler for hot and cold rolled materials (series 300, 400, and duplex)

• Width range: 600 ÷ 2,500 mm
• Thickness range: 5.0 ÷ 30.0 mm
• Ultimate tensile strength: up to 950 MPa
• Yield strength: up to 800 MPa
• Working speed: 10 m/min
• Sheet length: 1,000 ÷ 8,000 mm

– Cut-to-Length Line for hot rolled, pickled and oiled steel

• Width range: 700 ÷ 2,500 mm
• Thickness range: 1.5 ÷ 25.4 mm
• Ultimate tensile strength: up to 1,000 MPa
• Yield strength: up to 800 MPa
• Working speed: up to 40 m/min
• Coil weight: 45 tons
• Sheet length: 1,000 ÷ 15,000 mm

Both lines are equipped with our patented TDDS (Torque Dynamic Distribution System), ensuring optimal flatness and process control throughout the leveling stage.
