Last week, we were pleased to welcome a group of third-year students from the Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Production Engineering – Management Engineering track – of the Politecnico di Milano (Lecco campus), accompanied by Prof. Mario Covarrubias Rodriguez, to our headquarters in Viganò.

The visit is part of an academic project that will conclude in September with the presentation of a case study on industrial Digital Twin technology, developed in collaboration with FIMI Group.

During their time with us, the students had the opportunity to observe a flying shear undergoing final testing. This machine, soon to be installed at a customer site in the Netherlands, is the subject of their project. Seeing it in operation gave them a deeper understanding of its functions and provided valuable insights for their presentation.
