FIMIGroup is looking for a Mechanical Assembler to join its production team.
主要职责
We welcome both experienced professionals and motivated candidates willing to develop their skills in a technologically advanced and international environment.
The successful candidate will be involved in the assembly, testing, and preparation of industrial machinery and equipment destined for customers around the world.
What you will do
• Assemble industrial machinery and mechanical components.
• Perform functional checks during assembly activities.
• Prepare machinery for shipment.
• Use workshop tools and machine tools for mechanical fitting operations.
• Handle components using overhead cranes and lifting equipment.
• Collaborate with electrical and hydraulic technicians during assembly and installation activities.
资格和经验
What we are looking for
We welcome candidates with different levels of experience.
Junior Profile
• Approximately 3–5 years of experience in the industrial machinery sector.
• Good knowledge of mechanical drawings and assembly methods.
• Strong willingness to learn and grow professionally.
Senior Profile
• At least 8–10 years of experience in the industrial machinery sector.
• Proven experience in assembling and commissioning complex industrial equipment.
• Ability to work independently and manage advanced assembly activities.
Technical Qualifications
• Technical diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings.
• Knowledge of dimensional and geometric tolerances.
• Understanding of mechanical assembly methods.
• Knowledge of ferrous and non-ferrous materials.
• Ability to use workshop equipment and machine tools.
• Experience with overhead cranes and lifting equipment is considered an advantage.
• Valid driving licence.

📍 Location: Viganò / Valmadrera, Italy
Travel
Availability to travel in Italy and abroad is required.
Business trips may amount to approximately 4 months per year, not necessarily consecutive.
Contract, Working Hours & Benefits
• National Metalworking Industry Collective Labour Agreement (CCNL Metalmeccanici Industria).
• Salary range: €30,000 – €40,000 gross annual salary, depending on experience.
• Junior candidates may be offered an initial fixed-term contract (6 + 6 months) with the objective of long-term employment.
• Annual welfare benefits of €250 provided under the collective labour agreement.
• Working hours: 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM / 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM.
• Flexibility in working hours is required.
