FIMIGroup is looking for an Electrical Panel Wiring Technician to join its Automation Division.
Main responsibilities
Join FIMIGroup Automation division and help power industrial innovation worldwide
The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling, testing, and installing electrical panels and automation systems for industrial plants supplied worldwide.
Both experienced professionals and motivated junior candidates will be considered.
What you will do
• Build and wire electrical panels, operator desks, and remote control cabinets.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics.
• Perform testing and functional verification activities.
• Carry out insulation tests and CE certification-related checks.
• Prepare equipment for shipment.
• Support installation and commissioning activities at customer sites in Italy and abroad.
Qualifications and experiences
What we are looking for
We welcome candidates with different levels of experience.
Junior Profile
• Technical education in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
• Initial experience in industrial wiring or automation is considered an advantage.
• Strong willingness to develop a career in industrial automation.
Senior Profile
• At least 4 years of experience in a similar role.
• At least 6 years of experience in the industrial automation sector.
• Ability to independently carry out wiring, testing, and installation activities for electrical panels and automation systems.
Technical Qualifications
• Technical diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or equivalent.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
• Experience in industrial automation is considered an advantage.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Basic English language skills.
• Valid driving licence.

📍 Location: Barzanò (Lc), Italy
Travel
Availability to travel in Italy and abroad is required.
Travel may amount to approximately 90 days per year, with assignments generally lasting no longer than 4 consecutive weeks.
Contract, Working Hours & Benefits
• National Metalworking Industry Collective Labour Agreement (CCNL Metalmeccanici Industria).
• Salary range: €25,000 – €30,000 gross annual salary, depending on experience.
• Very junior candidates may be offered an initial fixed-term contract with the objective of long-term employment.
• Company canteen.
• Annual welfare benefits of €250.
• Working hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (flexible).
