FIMIGroup's Automation Division is looking for a Junior Electrical Designer to join its Electrical Engineering Department.
Main responsibilities

The successful candidate will support the team in the design and update of electrical schematics for industrial machinery and plants, contributing to technical documentation and production support activities.

What you will do
• Modify and update existing electrical schematics.
• Create new electrical drawings and technical documentation.
• Prepare bills of materials and component lists.
• Design and verify cable routing layouts.
• Support production and industrialization activities.
• Participate in occasional site visits for technical inspections.
Qualifications and experiences
What we are looking for
Technical Qualifications
• At least 2 years of experience in electrical drafting and schematic design activities.
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Knowledge of electrical design software.
• Intermediate knowledge of EPLAN is considered an advantage.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Basic English language skills.
• Technical diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field is preferred.

Location
📍 Barzanò (LC), Italy
Travel
Frequent travel is not required. Occasional site visits in Italy or abroad may be necessary, generally for periods of approximately one week and only a few times per year.
Contract, Working Hours & Benefits
• National Metalworking Industry Collective Labour Agreement (CCNL Metalmeccanici Industria).
• Compensation will be commensurate with the candidate's experience and qualifications.
• Very junior candidates may be offered an initial 6-month fixed-term contract with the objective of long-term employment.
• Flexible working hours within the 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM time window (8 working hours per day).
• Remote working is not available.
