Rif. 23.12 TPLCS – PLC service technician

FIMIGroup for its Automation division is looking for one/one TPLCS PLC service technician, to provide after-sales services and management of intervention/modification orders.
Main responsibilities
The figure we are looking for:
- Managing customer support via tele-service tools or other communication methods.
- Performing troubleshooting, spare parts management.
- Managing feature and/or component upgrade requests, HW and SW (in collaboration with UT automation).
- Execution of intervention activities for downtime issues.
- Managing suppliers from outside firms for job orders.
Qualifications and experiences
- Knowledge of programming SIEMENS STEP7/TIAPORTAL PLC software.
- Knowledge of programming SIEMENS G120/S120/SIMOTION/STARTER drives.
- Knowledge of Siemens HMI application programming.
- Knowledge of electrical/oleodynamic and pneumatic drawings.
- Familiarity with instrument datasheets, third party software and remote assistance.
Other characteristics and requirements:
- Minimum 3/5 years' experience in industrial automation.
- Knowledge of written and spoken English.
- Willingness to travel to customers for after-sales support and services, mainly in Italy (approximately 20% of the time).
