In FIMI’s production range, special machines are as important as the finishing and processing lines.
Studied in detail with technologically advanced solutions, they can be inserted in already existing plants to optimize and improve their performances.

Variable profile roll combined with the tension leveller which allows thin materials to be levelled at high speed without maintenance and lubrication between roll and material.
The roll profile can assume different configurations depending on the defect to be corrected (concave; convex; S-shaped…).

Upper holder of the milling machine head for the processing of the upper horizontal surface of the slab. Automatic system for detection of dimensions and profile of the incoming slab. Slabs’ turn-over system with position control. Milling tools inserts designed to be used twice as roughing tools and twice as finishing tools with consequent reduction of costs for spare parts and related expenses of stock.

The Venturi suction system guarantees not only dust removal with 99.9 per cent efficiency, but also higher production volumes due to reduced maintenance downtime. Automatic, semi-automatic and sequential working modes.

The FIMI compactor does not grind the scraps, but actually squeezes them without dust production, as in the traditional system.
The chips are sucked in and conveyed through soundproof piping to the silo just before the compactor. A chip accumulation is never produced in the silo to avoid problems with the normal discharge flow.

The compactor consists of a first part in which the chips are pushed by two rotating screws towards the compactor rolls.

The chips pushed into contact of the two rolls are packed to form a homogeneous panel. As the compactors come out of the rolls, a rotary shear cuts the panels into pieces of varying length.
The panels that are thus cut are then conveyed through an exhaust conveyor to containers to be sorted according to the type of alloy processed.

Shears with automatic positioning of the cutting heads that work at high-speed on a thickness range from 0,10 to 5 mm. The accuracy of the radial and axial rotation of the heads ensures a very high cutting precision and the almost complete absence of burrs.

FIMI trimming shears have been designed to house a central cutting head that enhances their versatility.

Oilers that can be perfectly fitted to existing plants to increase the production range. Dosing is precise and constant, while the product is evenly distributed, even on thin weights. The immediacy of the adjustment system and quick roller change, achieved through a careful study of the process and maintenance details, make FIMI oilers easy to use.

In addition, an appropriate heat insulation ensures safety and energy saving.

Modern FIMI embossers for aluminium and stainless steel with customized cylinders are a further proof of FIMI’s ability to fulfil customer’s needs.
The version with interchangeable embossing heads meets the need to reduce the downtime required for the roll changing.

Meander stapler or punching machines to suit every thickness and width required by the strip. For on-line seam, FIMI has developed a range of high-pressure hydraulic stitching machines with automatic control of the path of the on-line seam that is precise and safe.
